I have always been proactive, and while still at school I got a job for a local joinery company sweeping the floors. This allowed me to fund my passion for sailing, and before long I was refurbishing my own small yacht. My effort and the attention to detail that went into my refurbishment was noticed, and I was thrilled to be offered an apprenticeship in joinery. I qualified as a joiner in 2000.
Since qualifying I have been fortunate enough to work for various companies around the country. I have gained experience in both small and large companies, and accumulated a vast amount of knowledge over the years. My experience is in both joinery and as a builder.
I later moved into commercial and residential building and started my own business, Welldesignz, in 2015. This allowed me to specialise in areas that particularly interest me. We are traditional builders, and pour our own floors and fit our own roofs if necessary. These skills mean we can streamline a build and helps prevent delays. All of our team members are licensed practitioners who hold current Site 1 and Site 2 licenses.
I have always had a strong work ethic, and I strive to achieve the very best for each and every project I take on. It is these qualities, along with the knowledge I have gained over the years, that allows me to go above and beyond expectations for my customers.
It’s easy to provide the best quality and service when you love what you do!
